Fill Your Family’s Easter Baskets with Unique Gifts

March 22, 2018 by Lauren Weber

Easter is coming and we’re all starting to get into our festive moods. Of course, this holiday is particularly interesting for kids. They simply love it. Naturally, every year, we try to make it as amazing as possible for our tiny angels, however, this is getting more and more difficult. Year by year, our inspiration is waning and it’s getting harder to think of a great, unique gift for the Easter Bunny to give to our kids. So, it’s always good to try and get inspiration by consulting our friends or the internet. After all, we’d do everything to make our children happy. So, here’s a bit of help from our side.

Dolls

Cute dolls might be a good idea for a gift. Your kids must love all kinds of cartoons and movies. Moreover, every kid has their favorite superhero. If you haven’t done it yet, you now have the opportunity to get them a Pop Vinyl toy popular in Australia, as well as Canada, the US and the UK. Make your kids little collectors from an early age. That way, you’ll be able to solve not only one Easter, but many more, as collectors adore expanding their little treasure set.

DIY

If you’re unsure about what gift to get for your kids and you feel like all your ideas are spent and the offers are too generic, why not make your own Easter gifts? Test your creativity and go nuts with all the ideas that start to flow. You can make unusually-shaped chocolate and cake and decorate them appropriately. You can try new recipes your kids haven’t already tired. Make gift-cards and toys, or knit them bunny-shaped caps or tiny children’s bags. The opportunities are many and they’re just waiting for you to seize them. You could also personalize your gifts, it will make them even more special.

Masks

Another fun suggestion is to get your kids Easter-themed masks and face paint and organize a special Easter costume party. You’d be solving many parents’ gift problems, as well as your own, and your children are bound to have a great time with a costume and a cool party just for them. What’s more, you’ll get some time to share with your children while preparing their costumes and putting their face paint on. It’s fun for the whole family.

Play

If you’ve bought all possible material gifts already, perhaps it’s time for you to try something new. Why not write a play and perform it for your kids? It could be so much fun. You can make a puppet show and get all the family members to take part. Write a script and rehearse for it until the day comes when you’re giving your kids this amazing gift. It’s fun as much as it is educational.

Bunnies

If you don’t want to get a cliché gift, you can go the extra mile and get your kids a real bunny. Of course, this will take a bit more effort on your side, but it can be a great chance for you to also educate your children, instead of just giving them meaningless gifts. Use this opportunity to get your kids their first pet and teach them responsibility. It will be very rewarding for all of you and they’re guaranteed to remember this gift forever.

Of course, you don’t have to follow any of these tips. You can even opt for getting your kids gifts they actually need that aren’t in any way related to Easter. After all, you know them best and you’re the most competent person to decide what to get. If we managed to inspire you at least a bit, we’ve done our job. So, go get your planner or wallet and start the quest.
